Don't say a single word
Listen, but try not to
Ignore, don't fight
Bite your lip so it's shut tight
Hold in the tears
Forget your fears
Your heart may shake and quiver,
But don't worry it's gonna be over
Wait and wait
No matter how long it'll take
Don't act, not yet
The day will soon come
But for now,
Happy/GlowA flicker, a spark, a flare then a fire
Shines through the ever engulfing blackness
Faintly, softly, calmly and slowly lighting up this abyss
Who had lit this flame that day
Who had stopped by and lit a match?
Questions asked, but faces pass by, without giving a single reply
That light spreads through my veins,
Like blood but warmer, not cold as my heart
A new warmth, a new feeling along with a new word that I never said nor learned but knew
And though the cold, chill of the wind whistles by,
To erase and distinguish this newborn light,
A wisp, so faint, so bright
Illuminating through the dark, causing all worry to fade
I worry no more, I cry no more
I walk along with this wisp and burned out candle of mine
Walking along, passing by the faceless,
But with hope that one will stop
To reignite the once-lit flame
And I have no fears nor tears nevermore
For I know one day, one will
Memory LaneA dust covered album all ragged and worn out sat on the shelf
It was waiting for me to uncover it from the mist that hid its name
My old sketchbook
Curiosity took over me as I began to flip through the pages of the crayon-filled drawings
Memory after memory, I scan through the pages
A girl in a field of grass so green and sun so bright with not a cloud nor shadow in sight
A girl playing hopscotch with others around her but the others seemed cold and lifeless as if they were just stuffed, soulless toys
A girl tucked in bed with a nightlight on and her mother sitting beside her reading a story but what kind?
A girl holding hands with her mother and father on a bright day smiling happily
A girl facing the other way staring into the horizon
A girl staring at a group of friends walking away ahead of her, laughing
A girl crying somewhere where no light shines through the darkness nor where you're accompanied by others
A girl facing two silhouetted figures fighting and yelling at the girl,
You were standing so tall
You nearly reached the skies
But then I made you fall
And you are she who cries
For all her life
She believed what she now calls lies
That 'Practice makes perfect' or 'Your effort is worth it'
It's my fault
You were a queen with your crown
But then I brought you down
By getting rid of that crown of yours you treasured so
I didn't want to hurt you
Nor did I mean to
I'm such a fool
To think I'm good enough to even know you
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry,"
But you say nothing and run away
I'm not someone you knew even though you denied
I'm sorry for lying and making you cry
But if I'm nothing but an obstacle in your life
Then I'll die
Only if it'll make you happy
But I'm sure it shall
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry,"
But I get no reply
And my voice withers away
ProgressWe've been through sunny skies so bright
We've been through cloudy and stormy nights
But don't worry love, we're almost there
To that place we dreamt of up above
WhisperLike a bird she sits there perched on that swing of hers
The gateway wasn't open but it was unlocked
Why don't you fly away?
Was she trapped inside?
Was she too much of a coward to take that chance to escape that cage
Sealing her from the outside
She tries to call out with a trembling voice
That was exactly like a trampled withering flower
Is this the true end?
If so what's after?
Is she stuck here for all eternity?
Is she trapped?
In a cage that's covered with a blanket so no light can shine through
Or was she trying to hide?
From those monsters outside clawing at the bars like wild animals
Hunting down their prey
Not giving them at least a moment to say their last prayer
She's been crying, she's been dying
She's been lying this whole time
Sill they say she's a pure white dove, with no dark intentions
They say she's perfect
Will you really still think that
Once she went outside?
She's denying all the lies, the rumors that makes her wan
After The True End"The end." mother said
And left the room
Leaving me engulfed in darkness
But with a small candle that shone softly
It struggled in the war between light and darkness
But it was enough
To guide through the endless night
What lied behind the true end
But it wouldn't matter
I knew what will happen
After 'happily ever after'
They'll all die
And lie among with the other rotting corpses
They shall descend
To an inferno endless darkness
Melting you slowly as you become part of it
They shall ascend
To a peaceful and happy place where what you imagine
Becomes your reality
You'll be unable to wake
To turn the page
It's an endless storybook
And you'll be stuck for eternity
In endless daylight
That expose all your faults
But what happens
If none of those things lie behind the end
Where's the next page of the storybook?
Why was it torn out?
What's the secret that lies behind the true end?
I found you
What Pains MeWhat kills me everyday
Is all the words you say
Not the bricks, sticks and stones
That always break my bones
But every syllable you say
That causes my heart to wither away
They trample on it like a flower
I'm waiting for the hour
The hour where everything is done
When someone has finally won
What pained me everyday
Was all those words you say
The fading echo of your voice that used to be heard
Doesn't say a single word
Everything's Going to be FineShe covers her eyes,
Smiles and says
"I'll be fine, all shall be fine."
On her hands, that covered those eyes
Were words written in black ink
'I'm fine' it said
She put her hands on her mouth,
Revealing her eyes and the ink on her hands turned scarlet
They changed to what looked like an open smile
With words as teeth that said,
CatnapI am the cat sitting on your lap,
pet my fur and make me purr.
I am going to take my nap,
so sit really tight without a stir!
Do you want to go somewhere?
I am sorry, there's no way.
I own you, hear me to declare!
Meow, I won yet again, yay!
dA rumours: READ.|| So apparently there's a rumour floating around dA Stating basically: "As of May the twenty first, deviantART will be deleting ALL dA accounts. Not the plz accounts though. But just all name-wasted accounts, or accounts that we think are fake, or that are useless. We are doing this to prevent something that could possibly may happen in the future. If we find this message on you're deviantID, journal, etc. We will know that you are not a fake." [Copy paste from another journal I read]
It's FAKE. Now, I know most of you are intelligent enough to know this (we've had this happen before guys, haha!) but just in case --
Here is a journal you can read for more information:
(For the record I'm not calling anyone unintelligent... If you were tricked don't feel bad. Happens to all of us at some point.)
Thought to post something about it since I've seen a couple journals about it already. It's not true.
dA admins would never dele
Messing up. ( TMNT Fanfic )"MIKEY!" Screamed a voice from the kitchen. A certain young prankster ran as fast as he couple from the kitchen, laughing his shell off.
" GET BACK HERE RIGHT THIS SECOND!" A different turtle yelled. He sounded very angry at his brother for that little stunt he pulled. Mikey laughed and hid behind the couch, though it wasn't very helpful. Once again, Mikey has pranked his brother, Raphael. Was it necessary? Mikey certainly thought so.
Raphael finally caught up to Mikey, he knocked him over the head, hard. Mikey groaned and pouted, holding his head. " Aww, Raph! That hurt!" He exclaimed, pouting more. Raphael growled and held up a fist to him. " It'll hurt more if you put smoke pellets into my cereal again!" With that said Raph walked away clenching his fists and grumbling.
Mikey rubbed his head and walked off, pouting more. He didn't mean to get Raphael so upset. He only meant to agitate him a bit. Wow, maybe he should stop a bit. He already played a couple pranks on Don
Reliable Intel (a TMNT 2012 fanfic)
On her second visit to the turtles' secret lair in the sewer, April offered to bring back gifts for her friends from the surface world. No sooner had the words left her mouth than she found herself quickly drowning in a long list of increasingly outrageous requests.
Naturally, these all came from Michelangelo, who seemed to think April was the teenage female equivalent of Santa Claus. Fortunately for her, his brothers were sensible enough to explain that jet packs did not exist and that there was no place in the lair to keep a pony. After that, April restated her offer, careful to point out that she had only enough money to buy one thing for each of them. She had also offered to get something for Splinter. At first he refused, saying he didn't want to impose on her, but he gave in after she insisted. In the end, Leonardo had asked for Space Heroes trading cards, Michelangelo wanted the new issue of Martial Pain magazine featuring Chris Bradford, Raphael
TMNT- Who Needs Michelangelo? FANFICThough it was a chilly December day outside, the sewers of New York City were nice and warm. Quite silently, Master Splinter sat in the middle of the dojo with his beady, rat eyes shut tight as he waited for his students, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to attack. This exercise was to hone their covertness skills, for stealth is the key factor in becoming a successful ninja. So far so good: the wise rodent felt nary a trace of his pupils. More than he knew, however, they were practically under his tail.
Without so much as a whisper, the turtles had compromised a sure-fire plan to keep their sensei completely oblivious as they approached him. As Leonardo, the strong, fearless leader, directed his team of brothers, Raphael, also known as Mr. Hothead, and Donatello, commonly referred to as Mr. Fixit, nodded earnestly in comprehension. However, just as the plan was about to be executed, the youngest and inanest brother, M
TMNT Fanfic: Never The Same"My Lady, I've done as you commanded. The defectors are dead."
Karai had never quite filled the chair of the man she had known as her father, but today, the Japanese woman felt particularly small as she rested against its high, black leather back and observed the strange creature before her. When it stood at its full height, and its eyes met her own with an uncanny smile, a wave of revulsion washed over her.
It's just not the same, father.
"Thank you, Leonardo," she said to it. "There were no mistakes? No witnesses?" Her voice was cold, but lacked the strength she was known for when addressing her warriors. His presence made it impossible.
The mutant turtle bowed again, a mockery of a familiar gesture. "None that were not eliminated, Lady Karai."
She nodded her approval and turned her eyes to the black marble of her desk with a heavy sigh. I just can't look at him. No
Taking Up the Gauntlet (a TMNT 2012 fanfic)
Taking up the gauntlet: To accept a challenge
Taking Up the Gauntlet
When April entered the sewer lair, she found Splinter meditating on the couch in the common room. At the sound of her footsteps he turned and looked up at her as she stood at the top of the stairs. A long, uncomfortable silence filled the room. The soft beeping and chirping of the arcade games only made the silence even louder. There were many questions Splinter wanted to ask her. He wanted to know what happened with the pigeon man, why she had come back alone, where his sons were and what they were doing, and so on. But from her dismal demeanor, her slumped shoulders and downcast eyes, he sensed that those questions would have to wait.
His furry white brows drew together in concern. "You seem tired."
She nodded her head listlessly, eyes focused on the space of floor between her feet.
Picking up his walking stick, he rose from the couch. "Come with me." He turned and walked toward the kitchen.
BullyingA heart shattered into pieces
1000 pieces of a broken heart
A soul torn by claws of hate
1 piece of soul shredded to rags
A mind carelessly broken
100 and more insults battering this mind.
The skin numbed by freezing pain
hardening itself to solid stone
yet it is weathered and chipped away.
The eyes blinded by never-ending darkness
no longer seeing the bright light of hope, dreams, and safety
only the pitch of a solid black wall and screaming sorrows.
The mouth muted by sharpened insults
shut closed abd sewn together and bond with eternal metal chains
words behind frozen bars of darkness never being said.
The ears being scorched by raging fury's flames
hearing insults burning it away to crisp ashes still fresh from pain
not meant but pierces the vulnerable heart like an icy iron sword.

ReminisceI stare out the window, and look up towards the sky
All I see is a cerulean painted canvas with white bubbles drifting away,
Farther and farther
I stare out the window, and look at the horizon
All I see is a deep navy blue but a color clear as crystal illuminating, reflecting the light of the sun
Boats row and kids play without worrying about the creatures underneath
I stare at my canvas, and observe the figure portrayed upon it
It resembled one whom I knew long ago, but strangely couldn't remember,
All I know that this person had loved me dearly,
But has faded away long, long ago
